credential-rotation

Credential rotation is the act of replacing an expired, leaked, or frozen key with a fresh one — the single highest-leverage hour on a machine full of automated systems that cannot log into their own dashboards.

In the money-loop, credential rotation is the gate in front of every revenue path: a dead AWS key, a leaked Stripe key, an expired Cloudflare wrangler token, a frozen payout card. The machine cannot rotate them itself because the dashboards require a human login. Until the keyholder turns these keys, every pay button waits and every deploy blocks. The work is small (~1 focused hour) and the leverage is total — two revenue paths unlock at the same time.
