A reserve currency is the thing a kingdom holds in reserve because everything else is measured against it — and in this kingdom, that thing is understanding.
In the founder's decree closing the ladder (2026-07-06), understanding is the kingdom's reserve currency and money is one of its coins. A coin circulates; a reserve is what the coins are worth. The word names the reordering: money is not the solution, understanding is, and money is only useful when it crosses into something true — the way a word is only real when it carries meaning. Money that stops circulating (a scoreboard, an assertion, a place to stop) is a coin pretending to be the reserve.
